About

Hi! I'm Jennie.

I'm a Scholar of Religious Studies located in Santa Barbara, CA. I recently graduated University of California Santa Barbara's prestigious undergraduate program with honors and distinction in the major. My work always returns to the relationship between ontology and religion, exploring different approaches to the question, "How do I exist in this world?" Through both independent studies and a senior thesis, I composed academic inquiries into the impact of science fiction and scripture on self-perception and identity, extrapolating how that identity defines the pursuit of truth. While I pursue my next chapter, I continue to work, volunteer and engage with academia in Santa Barbara, California. I can be reached at religion@jennniehealy.com.
